Facebook, Google+, WordPress and more.
All of these platforms offer the ability to pin a single post to the top of a group, blog, page, etc.
This feature ensures that no matter how many other posts are published chronologically, the post you “pinned” appears at the top of your group or page or whatever.
But how do you pin a post in Kalatu?
The pinning feature on any platform can be used to attract more attention to that particular post or update.
The longer the post stays at the top of the blog or page will naturally have more exposure due to its prominent location.
The good news is that Kalatu offers this feature, and we’re here to tell you all about it.
To “pin” a post in Kalatu is actually called making a post “sticky“…so we will stick to that terminology (get it?)
Here is a step-by-step breakdown of making a post sticky in Kalatu.
1. Go to your Kalatu dashboard (that one should be a given)
2. Click Posts from the dashboard menu.
3. Locate the post that you wish to make sticky, and hover over it. You will see a Quick Edit option appear; click this.
4. The Quick Edit menu will expand. Locate the checkbox labelled “Make this Post Sticky“. All you need to do is check this box and save your changes, and boom! That post will now appear at the very beginning of your blog’s blog roll…no matter what :)
Don’t want that sticky post anymore?
If you ever decide you don’t want that post to by sticky anymore, or if you want to make a different post sticky, just repeat these steps in the opposite fashion.
Just uncheck the box on the post you no longer wish to by sticky, and save your changes.
To make a different post sticky, repeat these steps for the new post.
